where you will taste the genius of Chef Frank Brigsten, winner of
numerous honors and awards, including Chef of the Year and the James
Beard award.
Enjoy
a full New Orleans breakfast served plantation style at the B&B.
Time to explore New Orleans
on your own before taking a unique food history walking tour of
the city, discovering the city's culinary heritage on foot.
5:30 pm cooking class
at the B&B’s professional kitchen with your chef-instructor.
The lessons will focus on classic New Orleans Creole with a little
Cajun. Some of the dishes you may prepare include seafood gumbo,
shrimp bisque, shrimp etouffee, trout meuniere, eggs sardou, bread
pudding, pecan pie, café au lait crème brulee. Dinner
follows the lesson.

by a midday cooking class and lunch.
