Throughout the spring, summer, and fall Villa la Massa offers a cooking program, featuring the talents of chef Andrea Quagliarella. Chef Andrea's passion for cooking began when he was 11 and was honed during his tenure at sister hotel Villa d'Este. After five years as executive chef at Villa la Massa he has earned a worldwide reputation for fine Tuscan cuisine. He will lead cooking lessons featuring some of the specialties at Il Verrocchio.



Day One

Afternoon arrival on your own at Villa la Massa, grand award winner of the 2000 Hideaway report, named one of the best 25 small hotels of the world by Conde Nast Traveler in 2001 and a member of Relais and Chateaux since 2000.

Tonight enjoy a welcome cocktail and learn about all your cooking adventures to come!

Day Two

Morning cooking class with Chef Andrea. Lunch follows the lesson accompanied by select wines.

 

Day Three

Morning cooking lesson followed by lunch.

Evening on your own.

Day Four

Half day guided tour to the Chianti region with a visit of a winery, wine tasting, and lunch.

Farewell dinner at the Verrocchio restaurant..

Day Five

Morning cooking class in the kitchen. Lunch follows the class.
