Just an hour north of Rome lays the spectacular, unspoiled region of Sabina…a land of gentle hills scattered with Roman villas, medieval castles, churches and abbeys. This is a region untouched by mass tourism. Here, you will find undiscovered hill towns like Casperia…a perfectly intact medieval village where real Italians live and work.

Join us for four days of culinary magic, discovering the regional cuisine of Sabina. Your accommodations are in a beautifully restored 15th century palazzetto in the historical center of town. The rooms feature en suite bathrooms and stunning views of the surrounding countryside.

Your hosts are Roberto and Maureen Scheda, who will share their home and their love of Italian food and culture. You'll learn the secrets of centuries-old recipes in hands-on cooking lessons taught by a variety of local chefs. The package also features excursions to nearby hill towns where you will meet a fascinating number of food artisans and enjoy wine, olive oil and cheese tastings.
