Experience all that the Amalfi Coast has to offer on this weeklong culinary holiday to Sorrento, once the playground of European princes and aristocrats. You will stay in the stunning Excelsior Vittoria, a five star hotel set on a cliff overlooking the sea. From the tranquil garden filled with lemon and orange trees to the romantic terrace where you can watch the sun set while sipping an apertif, you'll think this must be a dream come true.

Cooking lessons will feature Mediterranean cuisine and are taught by Chef Giancarlo Schettini, the winner of numerous awards including the Medaglia d'Oro and the Prix Louise Pommery. Along with a wealth of knowledge, he brings great enthusiasm and passion to the kitchen.

You'll also explore all that the Amalfi Coast has to offer, including excursions to Capri, Pompeii, Positano and Ravello.


Day One

Arrival and transfer from the Naples airport to Sorrento.

Tonight enjoy a welcome dinner at the Excelsior Vittoria.

Day Two

Today you will embark on a drive down the famed Amalfi Coast, stopping to see fabled towns like Positano and Ravello. Lunch is on your own.

Return to Sorrento for your first cooking lesson with Chef Schettini in the Excelsior kitchen. A dinner based on what you've prepared follows the lesson.

Day Three

Morning cooking lesson followed by lunch.

This afternoon is free to relax by the pool, shop, or explore Sorrento.

Dinner on your own.

Day Four

Today you'll set off on a full day excursion to the beautiful island of Capri. Lunch is on your own.

Return to Sorrento. Evening free.

Day Five

This morning enjoy a guided tour to Pompeii.

Return to Sorrento for a late afternoon cooking class, followed by dinner.

Day Six

Most of the day today is yours for last minute shopping or sightseeing.

Late afternoon cooking lesson, followed by a delicious farewell dinner.

Day Seven

Morning departure to the Naples airport.
